I’m from http://www.z22se.co.uk and now living in Amsterdam for a while and I’ve bought a very nice Astra 2.2l.

In 2 weeks, one of the guys from z22se is going to tune up the engine with a full rebuild, refurbish + porting & increased compression, road cams 2.4 inlet manifold and a piper exhaust manifold.

Should take it to 185+bhp (136kW)

But I need the ECU remapped. Where’s the best place in the Netherlands to remap my car?

The best place is EDS in Germany they can fix this.

So far as i know the best due the fact that they have a dynojet testing bank.

Most famous around here also. Call them to check the costs.

I’m also looking who can remap this ECU. But there aren’t many people who can ‘read’ this computer.

The best sollution is to send it to your own courtenay. Those people know what there talking about. Especially for z22se engines. Thats what I am going to do

Thanks Ascona, I’ve done some additional research on the z22se forum and found this article: http://www.z22se.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=17509#p1158930

It seems like Superchips have custom maps and have tuned up AtomX’s engine too. He managed to push his z22se to 234bhp, naturally aspirated (I’ll post the link as soon as I find it) after working with Superchips. I’ll be taking my car to them when I next drive to England.

im not a great fan of telling specs and getting a remap without testing it on a RR

every engine has it’s differences, even if rebuilt. a RR mapped chip is the way to go. but the good places to do so are mainly found in germany :)

Superchips is fun on stock engine’s but if you’ve put soo much effort into rebuilding an engine and tuning it (i read something about a port and polish?) why go for a cheap sollution without proper testing?
