Nice pics,do you have more pics from the restyled Monza (Ascona C),like the interior and the dashboard?
Oh yes, I put pictures later, but the interior is practically the same, but there were changes in fabrics and finishes of doors, spelling tools and some equipment. And in the latter model, when it was released, he had the option of dashboard, but then was eliminated. The panel was similar to the Omega.

Hatchback sport een 1,8 SRNice !! :wub
How much would a car like this (pre 1987) cost over there?
This model was manufactured between 1986 and 1989 is very nice, but rare, because it was too expensive at the time. It was offered with a 1.8 engine preparation (known as 1.8/S) differs from other models and then with 2.0 normal (all 8V). Today one of these in good condition is very difficult to find and worth a lot, practically collector’s item. Here in Brazil, well-preserved old cars are highly valued.

And it could even be an Ascona C coupe, the sedan as we have three volumes.:)29 september 2010 om 12:45 #17735257origineel gepost door Alexandre Nunes

The regular version is much cheaper, because a car is undervalued, but it is also difficult to find one in good condition, most will stop at the scrap due to not having proper maintenance. I think it is around $ 1,000 to $ 3,000, depends heavily on conservation.
29 september 2010 om 12:55 #17735259Just a hard body shell, with windows and a rear bonnet and the backseat will be enough.
The rest we can take of an Ascona.29 september 2010 om 13:17 #17735260Mensagem original enviada por AkUzA_TetSuo

Thanks! The GM models made here generally take based on European models, the Americans think the style much better than American cars. We and many others had similar models and even equal to those manufactured in Europe.

The latest models were well equipped, including air conditioning, but you can still find them without the original system.
29 september 2010 om 22:27 #17735268Do you know there is a Chevrolet Monza Classic 500 EF (1990) ?
It’s the first passenger car of brazil with electronic injection.
A special edition with leather seats, 2.0 i engine and all options.
You can drive in it in the GTA-game30 september 2010 om 15:29 #17735269Mensagem original enviada por pizza

It’s the first passenger car of brazil with electronic injection.
A special edition with leather seats, 2.0 i engine and all options.
You can drive in it in the GTA-gameThe Chevrolet Monza Classic SE 500 E.F. was a special series in honor of Emerson Fittipaldi’s victory in the Indianapolis 500 (Indy) was only produced in 1990 based on the Classic SE model. He was equipped with electronic fuel injection analog (it was the second in Brazil equipped with injection, the first was the VW Gol GTi in 1989), was manufactured only in two colors (wine and dark green metallic metal), had an outwardly elegant and discreet spoiler and bands Decorative “500 E.F.”. Internally it was complete, only the automatic transmission was optional, and seats were in black leather. At the time cost 50% more than the normal Classic SE.
This model is quite rare to find around here, because few were sold.
30 september 2010 om 15:45 #17735270@ Alexandre.
Really nice Monza’s you have in Brazil, our Ascona was replaced by the Vectra in 1988.
i have 4 Ascona’s ,one fully restored,my father bought the car in 1983,brand new but unfortunately at the end the car was pretty much destroyed by the rust.
I’ll bet Monza’s/Ascona’s don’t rust that much in Brazil!
Check this link http://opel-forum.nl/viewthread.php?tid=108272&page=1 for the rebuild of the car!30 september 2010 om 16:20 #17735271you should get youre ass in the corsa and kadett sub forums, you can make money by sending clear E kadett headlights and corsa b rear lights overhere:P
