Whellow…

4 oktober 2014 om 18:57 #18255804As far as I can search in TIS, there is a connection from Control Unit – Central locking, plug X61 pin 24, wire colour Brown Black, cross section 0.5 mm2. Wire ends up at each window motor pin 6. Same wire goes to sunroof motor pin 4.
For sure if there is a function to activate with tech2, it must be in the Central locking control unit. Most probably, must be something in Variant Configuration to set from Not Present to Present. I never plugged my tech2 to Vectra B, so I am guessing a bit.

Made a connection once on my old Vectra by crossing the wires in the control unit. It works fine, but could give problems in the future, as seen at others. I’ve read somewhere (my thoughts were or on the O-F or vectra-team site) that some guys programmed the Omega settings on a Vectra. I’m gonna search further on the web.
Thanx 4 the info so far, but if ya would like to plug on your tech2 to the Vec once to check it out, i would appreciate that a lot :wors

5 oktober 2014 om 11:30 #18255806If you have free parking in Amsterdam :D , why not, then I can enjoy a visit in the city. You need the wiring in place anyway, so have a check in one of the doors first.
I am not sure if such control unit supports SPS software update from Omega, but if that is possible, one serial number VIN from such Omega is needed.

In the 1.0.1.67 version above mentioned function has been added. Here are some details on it.
As you may know, the in order to close windows on Vectra B the key must be turned in the lock and hold in that position until windows closed. Not very convinient procedure… The new added function will make this process a bit easier. The activation routine is following:
– get connected to CDLS
– open “Control ECU4” tab
– select the “Act./Deact. Comfort Window Closing” item and enter 1 if you want to activate, or 0 if you want to deactivate number in the box next to the list
– press Save! buttonAfter activation the windows can be closed using remote key. The closing procedure can be following:
– press once “Lock” button on the remote key to lock the vehicle
– press and hold “Lock” button. The windows will start to close, as long as the button kept pressedSo far that that function implemented for Vectra B MY98+ only.
I’m living in one of the last parking-free areas of Amsterdam, so your always free to come over :thumb
