Hi everyone excuse my ignorance as im english :(
I’m in the process of adding TPMS = tyre pressure monitoring system to my 03 Vectra c,I have a NCDC2015 + CID fitted does anyone know if there’s an option in the BC section to monitor the tyre pressure’s or any settings on the CID screen or does it just pop up on screen like check control and warn you when tyres are low pressure ?
I know on the newer vectra’s what have the CD70 + CID there is a tyre section in BC
Thanks for any help

28 december 2009 om 15:58 #17578659hi big mac (fancy where the name’s from :angel)
I don’t know much about the C section, but were the first C1’s equippet with tyre pressure sensors :hmmz
Otherwise . . . build in also the CD70 :D28 december 2009 om 16:12 #17578660If it’s original it takes a Tech2 session to make it work:thumbup
Welcome btw;)
greetings

28 december 2009 om 16:26 #17578661Welcome here Mac ( Big?)
I don’t know nothing about the NCDC2015, but I have the CD70 in my vec. On the CD70 is an option in the BC-setting , but it’s only to set it On/Off. If you don’t have sensors on your wheels , then the CD70 won’t bother you with any annoying messages on your screen.
So I think if you put some sensors on your wheels/rims , the message will pop-up automatically. Or you need a tech-2 ,like above message ! :thumbupBtw: Where you’re from??
And maybe a little bit easier for you , will be http://www.vectra-c.com !
@ SWReijnders: C-section is a term they use in the Operation-room at the hospital ! :angel

Sorry guys i only speak English :( were one of the ignorant countries in the world as we expect everyone else to speak it :wub
I should of started off like this
Hi my name is Don i’m 38 years old and live in the UK i’m a Moderator on Vectra-c.com and have been modding my vectra c 2.0 Dti for well over 2 yrs.
I’m currently retrofitting the TPMS system to my vectra c but wanted to know if anyone on these forums has the same sort of setup as me eg: NCDC2013/15 + CID so i could see what if any settings there are on the screen when its all fitted.I know the CD70 has its own menu where you can see the pressure’s of each wheel and just wanted to know if it will be the same on the NCDC screen.
The reason ive asked on these forums is because iirc TPMS was very much standard fit to most of the foreign vectra’s
Anyway thanks for all your welcome’s and hopefully some one will be able to point me in the right direction
PS….Dont suppose anyone knows what settings need to be activated in TECH2 do they ?
28 december 2009 om 19:44 #17578665Hi Don,
I guess we had some email-contact earlier this year on Vectra-c.com.
I can’t help you out ’cause I have a cd70, but maybe some one here can. Can’t they at the Vx-dealer tell you anything?? Especially for the tech2 set up.
I can ask for you @ the Opel-dealer over here , if you like !
28 december 2009 om 19:56 #17578666Hello mate you under same name on vectra c ? that would be good if you could as most technitions here haven’t got a clue tbh
Will wait and see if anyone else on here can help its just ive had a few members say they cant find anything in the NCDC menu’s regarding tyre pressure’s which i feel is a bit strange as you should be able to check them like the CD70 does
But some have said it just pop’s up when pressure is low like check control warning’s28 december 2009 om 20:25 #17578667Yes I’m under the same name as well @ vectra-c.com.
I presume it will pop-up when the pressure is low. My brother in law has a ’03 vec and his notification pops-up . Not sure wich radio he has.
I’ll ask the local dealer. ( maybe tomorrow, other wise the day after that ! )28 december 2009 om 20:33 #17578668FF in NL-vertaling : ( Dutch translation )
Hallo iedereen

Hallo,
Ja alleen pop up, ook met de NCDC-2015.
Groetjes, Joche
28 december 2009 om 22:12 #17578671does this mean it can also be fitted (programmed) on a vectra-b with NCDR 1100 or 1500 :angel
on the TIS screen I’ve seen 1 GREEN wire going to the Canbus system . . .
:hmmz :D hey my NCDR1100 does also have a canbus green wire :D
28 december 2009 om 22:21 #17578672Dont think it can as i’m sure the vectra b dont use canbus :( you can fit an after market kit that has the sensors and screen off ebay

not exactly.
The vectra-b does not support canbus, only the NCDR radio. The connection between CID, CDC3 (cd-changer) and Telematika unit are also canbus controlled.
As the NCDR1100 and 1500 are technically exactly the same as the 2013 and 2015, I might see some possibilites :)
28 december 2009 om 22:31 #17578674Its not the unit that controls the TPMS though its a control box that lives in the boot thats connected to the main wiring harness of the car, this in turn is linked to 4 receivers that are under each wheel arch,so as the vectra b didnt have this as an option you would have to make a complete new harness for the front Receivers and a new rear axle harness along with a harness that connects into the main engine bay ecu to back of car to control box.
A lot of mucking about just for check control,i’m lucky enough to have the front TPMS plugs and the control box plug,i have bought the wheel sensor’s and receivers along with control box and a new rear axle harness
If you need pointers to making a harness just pm me and i can help you but it will cost you more than it would for a vectra c as you will need to wire the whole lot in
28 december 2009 om 22:38 #17578675hmmm well, i was just checking the possibilities of an NCDR1100 which I installed recently.
was it an Omega option :hmmz28 december 2009 om 22:40 #17578676Nope never an option on omega’s all ready asked on the omega forums when trying to source valve sensors :thumbdown
Best bet would be a kit off ebay
I have a spare ncdr2011 fascia board if anyone ever needs one think they were common in omega’s and vectra’s
29 december 2009 om 17:17 #17578677Asked my local dealer today and at the garage of a friend of mine.
Both told me it’s a pop-up ( like GTS32v6 & Joche already said above ) when the tyre-pressure is low.
Some need a tech2 setup, others just have to put some sensors in their tyres and it works.Have you ever tried a wheel on with a TP sensor?? Then you know for sure.
About wich setup you need to follow with Tech2 I really don’t , but if you might need it , they told me it’s in Tis2000 ( only thing is Tis2000 is realy hard to find your way around ! )
