Astra 2016 Rear Speakers

My wife has an Astra (2016) (unsure on the specific model) and the speakers in the rear of the vehicle appear to outputting no audio.

I've tried adjusting the balance on the IntelliLink system, but it only lets me pan left to right and not front to back. Is there some setting or something obvious I'm missing or are they broken / loose connection? And if so there is an easy way to diagnose / fix it?

Check if there is a fader fucntion on the radio.

And are there really speakers in the rear of the car or only in the front?
